    • The shared capital of Arig Bank has reached 100 billion MNT and fully complies with the prudential ratio criteria set by the Bank of Mongolia. Arig Bank is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

    • Share capital increased by 15 billion MNT to 50 billion MNT.
  • 2020
    • ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard was introduced to the Banks’ operations ISO 10002 Quality Management-Customer Satisfaction Standard Certificate received respectively from BSC Standardization Company of Australia.

    • Became the “Mongolian Sustainable Finance”, “TOC” Leading bank of 2017 “Hope and Possibility” Charity Marathon was awarded 2016 Best “Mongolian Sustainable Finance” event of the year. Was named the best “Corporate Social Responsibility” Bank by “Asia Money Country Awards” Successfully implemented the “Let’s fight air pollution together” Innovative project.

    • “Arig Tour” aka “ Green office” initiative has been launched. Co-founded “Achilles Mongolia” NGO and started organizing “Hope and Possibility” charity Marathons yearly. In collaboration with ING Bank and UNICEF started implementation of “Ger Tsetserleg” projects.

    • Erel Bank made restructuring for its management, and the restructuring of management was the greatest movement in Erel Bank’s history line. The name of Erel Bank changed into Arig Bank, which means pure, bright and crystal; therefore,Arig Bank assists customers with fresh strategy, fresh appearance, and fresh services.

    • Erel Bank created its next branch, which was named “New Darkhan,” in Darkhan city, and New Darkhan Branch was completely satisfying its customers’ wants and desires.

    • Erel Bank opened its next branch in 1stkhoroo of Chingeltei District, in Ulaanbaatar city. The branch was named as 40K by its customers, and customers were pleased for opening of the 40K because the Bank’s services came closer to customers.

    • Erel Bank established its second branch in Darkhan City, which is the second largest city of Mongolia. In the history of Erel Bank, Darkhan Branch was the first branch outside of Ulaanbaatar city.

    • Khoroolol Branch,the first branch was built in 5th khoroo of Bayangol District in Ulaanbaatar city. Since, Erel Bank was starting to serve its financial services to Mongolian customers for the first time.

    • Erel Bank, which is the second oldest commercial bank of Mongolia, starts to write its history since 1997.
